HUTCHINSON — The Barton Community College women’s basketball team defeated Marshalltown 69-65 Friday night at the Hutchinson Classic and beat Neosho, out of Chanute, 48-33 on Saturday.
Taschell Phillips had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds for Barton (4-2). Dionne Harris added 14 points and seven rebounds for the Cougars against Marshalltown.
Barton hosts the Southwestern JV on Tuesday night at 6 at Kirkman Activity Center.
