LANSING, Mich. — The governors of Michigan and Kentucky have wagered bourbon and cherry pie on the winner of the NCAA men's basketball championship game between Michigan and Louisville.

Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear is offering seven bottles of bourbon if Michigan wins. They include Maker's Mark, Jim Beam Black and Wild Turkey 101.

Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder is putting up "the world's best cherry pie" made with Michigan cherries should Louisville prevail.

The Wolverines and Cardinals meet Monday night in Atlanta, with the winner crowned national champion.

Democrat Beshear says he's confident the Cardinals' quickness, defense and grit will overwhelm Michigan.

Republican Snyder is a Michigan graduate and says he can't wait to see the Wolverines cut down the nets. He says he doesn't "plan to be baking any pies."
