First-year Kansas Jayhawks head football coach Charlie Weis will hold a press conference on Wednesday, Aug. 1, to open preseason camp in Mrkonic Auditorium at the Anderson Family Football Complex.
Weis’ offensive line coach is former Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Tim Grunhard.
Grunhard spent the last six seasons as head coach at Bishop Miege High School, including winning a Class 5A state championship in 2009.
Grunhard enjoyed an 11-year NFL career, all with the Chiefs. He was a second-round draft pick in 1990, out of Notre Dame, where he was a standout offensive lineman on the 1988 Irish national championship team.
