PRATT — Barton Community College’s Al Key recorded his fourth double-double of the season in leading the Cougars past Pratt on Saturday night.
Barton left the Beaver Dome with a 62-60 Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Western Division ovetime win, improving its record to 18-3 overall, 5-2 in the West.
Pratt drops to 12-9, 2-5.
Key, who scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for his 11th career double-double, laced in a layup to knot the score at 57 as time ran out in regulation, and got a putback with 3:30 left in overtime to give the Cougars a 61-59 lead.
Turon Parker, who struggled in making 1 of 7 from the floor, came up with a big steal with 27 seconds remaining to help seal the win.
Andell Cumberbatch finished with 15 points for Barton.
