Labette beats BCC 69-63 in overtime

PARSONS — The  Barton Community College women’s basketball team had their season come to an end on Wednesday night in a first-round NJCAA Region VI playoff game on the road.
Labette rallied in the second half to send the game into overtime, where it outscored the Lady Cougars 14-8 in OT to secure a 69-63 victory.
Barton closes its season with an 18-13 record. Labette advances to the quarterfinals at Hartman Arena in Park City on Saturday.
Dionne Harris scored 13 points and teammates Netayna Jackson and Blair Bloomfield added 12 points for the Lady Cougars, who led 26-18 at halftime before the Lady Cardinals outscored the visitors 37-19 in the second half to send the game into an extra session.
