The Barton Community College women’s basketball team is set for an NJCAA Region VI Tournament quarterfinal game against Seward County today at 3 p.m. in Wichita.
The game is coming on the heels of an 82-76 victory over Cowley County on Saturday and the recent news that three Lady Cougars players were awarded Kansas Jayhawk Community College Western Division All-Conference notoriety.
Cheyenne Hedrington led the selections with a second-team honor, while Ashton Bruner and Mariana Lambert landed on the honorable mention team.
