In conjunction with tonight’s Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Western Division home basketball game with Hutchinson at Kirkman Activity Center, Barton Community College will dedicate the night to “Pink Out” for breast cancer awareness.
Offering support and increasing awareness, the Barton Student Life Office has organized the evening’s events with informational and fundraising opportunities with all proceeds donated to the Barton Relay for Life team.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink as a show of support with a limited number of “Pink Out” themed t-shirts available for free distribution.
The evening’s national anthem will be sung by the Central Plains High School Choir while halftime performances will feature performances by the Barton Dance Team and the Stockton High School Dance Team.
Informational and fundraising booths will also be set up tonight.
For more information regarding “Pink Out” activities or for information regarding breast cancer, contact Diane Engle, Barton Director of Student Life, at (620) 792-9271.
