BAT CATS 10, MONARCHS 9 – Who else? Armani Raygoza to the rescue.
Raygoza’s 2-run RBI hit finished off a 10-9 comeback victory after the Bat Cats (23-9, 18-6 Jayhawk) trailed 9-3. Nick Parton drilled a 3-run fifth-inning homer. The Bat Cats scored four runs in the seventh inning. Jake Tatom, batting .413, delivered three hits. Jase Woita homered and drove home two runs with three hits. Robby Bolin, Tatom, Jackson Webster and Jace Wentling drove home runs.
Reliever Brady Wilson (1-0) earned the victory. Wilson and Brett Allen combined for five shutout innings.
Hutchinson's Jaden Gustafson drove home three runs. Drew Bugner and Paris Pridgen each drove in two runs.
