The Barton Community College men's basketball team lost their second straight KJCCC Western Division game on Saturday night, falling to division-leading Seward County, 71-50.
The Saints went on a 12-4 run to put some early separation in the game, taking a 14-6 lead at the 11:41 mark.
Irvin Hollinger tipped in a loose ball off the rim to put Seward up 16-6.
Storm Sanders, who finished with five points, hit a 3-pointer from the left side of the basket to make it 16-9 at 10:48.
Brunson led the Cougars with 14 points.
Colin Beatty added 10 points.
