It was a great year for Barton sophomore standout Renan Sousa. He received one more accolade for that tremendous season this past week when he was named a second team NJCAA All-American.Sousa, a midfielder from Brazil, was the 14th Cougar to receive All-American honors and the first since 2013. He was the only player from the region to be named among the 33 players honored first, second, or third team.This past season scored 14 goals and added 15 assist for the Cougars.
