HOISINGTON 28, PHILLIPSBURG 13

PHILLIPSBURG – Hoisington tailback Legend Robinson returned to prime form with 195 yards rushing and three touchdowns to spark the Cardinals past Phillipsburg in 2A, District 8. Robinson scored on 2, 8 and 36-yard runs. Ian Smith added an 8-yard touchdown run. The Cardinals (3-1, 1-0) play Minneapolis (2-2, 1-0) next week.

QB Wyatt Wikum rushed for 137 yards as the Cardinals gained 373 yards. Hoisington's Tony Moore and Jason Robinson recovered Panther fumbles.

CHASE – Central Plains quarterback Cole Lamatsch rushed for two touchdowns and passed for three touchdowns to spark the Oilers past Chase 58-6 in Friday's 8-Man 2, District 5 football game. Lamatsch scored on 1 and 14-yard runs. Hunter Green scored on 1- and 29-yard passes. Blaine Hickel caught a 10-yard TD pass. Dawson McNeal scored on a 50-yard interception return and on a 10-yard rushing touchdown.

Lamatsch and Evan Stratmann recovered Chase fumbles. Lamatsch accounted for 10 tackles and three assists. Green had six tackles.

The Oilers (3-1, 3-0) play at state-ranked Victoria (3-1, 2-0) next week.

Chase's Jaden Freisner caught a 52-yard scoring strike from Christian Cavender.

OTIS — Otis-Bison quarterback Kaden Foust accounted for three rushing and three passing touchdowns and broke a school record to spark the Cougars past Chase 50-0 in Friday's 8-Man, District 5 football game. Foust scored on a school record 79-yard run and added scoring runs of 15 and 17 yards while rushing for 135 yards.

Foust completed touchdown passes to Dalton Regan (23 yards), Ethan Graff (29 yards) and Eston Juno (34 yards). The Cougars (2-2, 1-2) play Tescott (1-3, 1-1( next week. Chase (0-4, 0-3) gained 30 yards.

ELLINWOOD – After getting outscored 247-0, the Ellinwood Eagles scored two touchdowns. The pesky Eagles connected on a 75-yard touchdown strike from Drew Heinz to Cody Zink. Cole Petz scored on a 5-yard run and Moritz Jaehme converted an extra point kick.

Conway Springs QB Brayden Kunz completed two touchdown passes to Lance Pauly and scored on a 5-yard run. Izic Billips scored on a pair of 13-yard touchdown runs.

Ellinwood (0-4, 0-2) plays at Salina Sacred heart (0-4, 0-3) next week.

MACKSVILLE  – Macksville quarterback Ryan Kuckelman scored seven rushing touchdowns and gained a school record 362 yards in a 58-34 victory over Pratt Skyline in Friday's 8-Man, District 6 football game. Kuckelman scored on touchdown runs of 3, 17, 39, 40, 41, 47 and 57 yards.

Jason Cleveland scored on a 44-yard run. The Mustangs (1-3, 1-0) rushed for 477 yards. Kuckelman contributed 12 tackles and Rogelio Ibarra and nine tackles. The Mustangs play LaCrosse (2-2, 1-0) next week.

ROZEL – Pawnee Heights QB Adam Hands and Braden Colglazier each accounted for seven touchdowns and receiver Alex Carlson caught six touchdown passes in a school record 95-65 victory over Fowler in 6-man football. The Tigers are 2-2.

Hands completed five touchdown passes and dashed 6 and 26 yards for rushing scores. Colglazier threw four touchdown passes, caught two touchdown passes and converted a 16-yard rushing touchdown.

Carlson caught touchdown passes of 10, 11, 15, 15, 16 and 56 yards. Carlson caught four scoring passes from Colglazier and two from Hands.

STAFFORD – Stafford's Angel Dominguez scored two rushing touchdowns in a 50-27 loss to South Barber in 8-Man, District 6. Stafford's Tai Hildebrand and Dylan Gantz also scored rushing touchdowns. Gantz gained 137 yards and Dominguez gained 117 yards.

South Barber QB Briggs Jewell completed four touchdown passes and 131 yards. Gatlin Jewell rushed for 141 yards and had 66 yards receiving.

St. John’s Ethan Son caught two passes for 31 yards. Marco Ibarra completed three passes for 16 yards. Caden McCandless passed for 16 yards and rushed for 10 yards. St. John (0-4, 0-1) plays Kiowa County (0-4, 0-1) Friday.
