OTIS-BISON 46, SATANTA 0

OTIS — Otis-Bison quarterback Kaden Foust passed for three scores and rushed for two touchdowns to spark the Cougars past Satanta 46-0 in Friday’s 8-man football game. The Cougars (3-1, 3-0 District) are the defending 8-man District 8 champion.

Foust completed a school record 79-yard touchdown pass to Seth Hoopingarner and added scoring strikes to Bevan Gradig and Dalton Regan. Foust scored on 8 and 65-yard runs. The Cougars rushed for 249 yards and added 123 yards passing.

Cougar Dalton Regan intercepted two passes. Christian Roth had four tackles and four assists. Satanta quarterback Houston Friend threw for 202 yards.

ELLINWOOD — Lakin tailback Kayden Christiansen scored three touchdowns and William Gilleland and Servando Gonzalez each scored twice as the Broncs roared past Ellinwood 60-21 in 2A District football.

Christiansen scored on 31, 42 and 75-yard runs. Gilleland scored on a 90-yard kickoff return and 60-yard run.

Ellinwood (1-3, 0-1 District) scored touchdowns on Kyler Doll touchdown passes to Ryan Niles and Cody Zink. Lane Klepper scored on a 9-yard run.

LITTLE RIVER 48, CENTRAL PLAINS 0

CLAFLIN — Little River’s Jayden Garrison ran for two scores, caught a TD pass and connected with Braxton Lafferty, Keaton Richardson and Graham Stephens for scoring strikes. Stephens added a TD run.

Little River piled up 288 yards of total offense. The Oilers’ gained 62 yards rushing and five yards passing.

Garrison completed four passes for 129 yards and Stephens was completed two passes for 64 yards. Garrison gained 53 yards and Stephens added 42 yards.

The Oilers played without co starting quarterback Cole Lamatsch and starting back Lawson Oeser. Quarterback Jerred Bieberle was sidelined during the game.

Oiler coach Chris Steiner expects Oeser and Bieberle to miss the rest of the season. Five starters will likely miss Friday’s game. 

Central Plains (1-3, 0-1 District) dropped its first district game. Little River (3-1, 1-0 District) plays at Skyline (4-0, 1-0 District).

Michael Seward rushed for two scores. Macksville (2-2, 1-0 District) plays Moundridge next week.
