The Golden Belt Barracuda Swim Team had their first swim meet of the summer season on May 30th at Barton Community College.  Great Bend had 93 kids participate in this meet with Scott City, Dodge City, Wichita County, and Hays.
 
Top scores went to Reese Merlau 8 and under, Jacob Hall 8 and under, Ellyson Somers 10 and under, Ellis Long 10 and under, Cal Dunekeck 12 and under, Matt Huslig 12 and under,  Aubrey Snapp 12 and under, Brady Daniel 14 and under, Katherine Snapp 14 and under, Elizabeth Gerdes 14 and under, Dawson Clark 15 and over, and Kira Cook 15 and over.
