The Barton Blazers (19-5) placed second in the sixth-grade division of the 12-team Big Brothers Big Sisters MAYB tournament in Hays this weekend, defeating DC Flight and Get It N Go in pool play. They defeated Central Kansas Powercats and Skyline Thunder in bracket play, falling to DC Flight 46-44 in the championship game.
