ELLINWOOD – The Beloit Trojans converted 12 Ellinwood errors into 13 unearned runs for a baseball sweep over Ellinwood 12-2 and 5-1 Monday. Ellinwood (5-9) is led by Campbell Coleman batting .424 (14 for 33), Cohen Gunn .275 (11 for 47) and Bryan Jaske .273 (12 for 44).
BELOIT 12, ELLINWOOD 2 (G1) – Beloit (8-4) converted seven Ellinwood errors into nine unearned runs as the Eagles’ failed to make defensive plays.

Ellinwood’s Chase Gibson singled home Drake Hosman. Banks Jacobs singled home Bryan Jaske. Gibson singled twice. Trace Tudor (3-3, 2.91 ERA) was tagged with the loss.
