HUTCHINSON — Hoisington's Logan Cossel (82 , 45-37) placed fifth to lead the Cardinals to second place (354) in Monday's Central Kansas League golf tournament.
Cossel birdied Nos. 11 and 17 to fashion a 1-over-par 37 back nine at Crazy Horse Golf Course.
The Cardinals also counted scores by ninth-place Mason Martin (89), 11th-place Bryson Kinman (90) and 14th-place Rennick Dalton (93).
Hesston's Carter Frey shot 1-under-par 71 and birdied Nos. 1, 6 and 13 to earn medalist honors. Hesston (311) won the team title by 43 shots.
