AUGUSTA — Hoisington's girls (134) placed fourth behind Colby (145), Chapman (144) and Abilene (137) at the Augusta 4A wrestling regional.
Hoisington's seven 4A state qualifiers are runner-up Tristin Compton (135), runner-up Neveah Graves (190), 3rd-place Trinity Graves (125), 5th-place Jayda Bailey (110), 7th-place Annabelle Gonzalez (115), 7th-place Mary Griffin (170) and 7th-place Amerie Hinz (235).
In championship matches, Colby's Morgan Hills pinned Compton (4:30); and Winfield's Abby Brenn downed Neveah Graves, 14-3.
Larned's four state qualifiers are 3rd-place Mia Munden (145), 4th-place Miranda Nolde (105), 4th-place Cara Herbert (140) and 4th place Paizley Weizbrod (190).
Hoisington and Larned will compete at the 4A state tournament Friday/Saturday at Salina.
