Cardinals’ Farmer wins pole vault

BELOIT – Hoisington’s Shellamae Farmer captured the pole vault (11-0) matching her season-best clearance at Friday’s Beloit Track Invitational. The meet featured many of the top 3-4A track teams in Central Kansas. The Cardinals posted several season-best times and distances.

Finishing runner-up was Cardinal Macy Hanzlick in the 100 meters (13.15) and Sheena Gocela in the pole vault (8-6).

CARDINAL BOYS – Hoisington's Josiah Ball sparked the Cardinal boys with a runner-up finish in the pole vault (12-6) and thirds in the 110-meter hurdles (16.78) and 300-meter hurdles (43.68).

Cardinal Bralen Thompson was runner-up in the triple jump (42-6) with a season-best distance.
