HOISINGTON 10, RUSSELL 7 — Hoisington's Macie Strong ripped a 2-run triple and drove home four runs in a wild 10-7 opening victory over Russell. Kelsi Maier's 2-run singled scored Marly Brewer and Reece Aylward in a 5-run first inning.

HOISINGTON 17, RUSSELL 1 — Hoisington's Reece Aylward homered and doubled to spark a 17-1 softball victory over Russell to complete a 2-game sweep. Aylward ripped a 3-run second inning home run and drove home four runs.

Leadoff batter Tarlton singled home Crawford and Mary Griffin in the second inning. Tarlton's double scored Dylan Stone and Griffin to end the game on the 15-run rule.
