GARDEN CITY 3, GREAT BEND 2 — Garden City reliever Jakobe Rathbun struck out Koehn Ribordy with the bases loaded to preserve a 3-2 Western Athletic Conference baseball victory over Great Bend Tuesday.

Strecker issued a sixth-inning bases-loaded walk to Jaxon Wondra to force home Carter Dreiling. Rathbun walked Daxton Minton on a 3-2 count to force home Jaden Prilling for a 3-2 score. 

Rathburn regrouped to strike out Ribordy to strand three baserunners. `Strecker walked Dreiling and hit Jayden Prilling and Richter with pitches to start the sixth inning.

Rathbun earned a seventh-inning save by retiring Dreiling and Prilling to strand Trenton Kern and pinch runner Christian Alcala with the tying and go-ahead runners on base.

Strecker doubled home Jonathan Almanza and Culden Plankenhorn in the first inning off Panther pitcher Ribordy (0-1). Cameron Barrett scored on Rathbun's fourth inning double for  3-0 lead.
