The Great Bend AAA American Legion baseball team is set to host a tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
The Chiefs Classic will have six team separated into two pools.
Pool ‘A’ will play at the Great Bend Sports Complex and Pool ‘B’ is slated to play at Veterans Memorial Park.
The Chiefs, who are 2-4 this season, is in Pool ‘A’ with Larned and Russell.
Pool ‘B’ is made up of Hutchinson, Buhler and Pratt.
Great Bend challenges Larned at 11 a.m. and Russell at 4 p.m., with the Larned-Russell game in between at 1:30.
All teams advance to Sunday’s competition with the top 2 seeds of each pool in the running for the title.
