Oilers, Cougars earn first place medals

RUSSELL –  Central Plains Oiler Boston Robison earned first-place medals in the 100-meter hurdles (18.23) and 300-meter hurdles (56.22) and placed runner-up in the pole vault (6-6).

Other first-place girls finishers were Otis-Bison’s Destiny Mitchell (14:31.64); Oiler Lauren Oeser, javelin (136-2); and Otis-Bison’s 400-meter relay (56.02) and 3,200-meter relay (4:53.28).

BOYS DIVISION – Central Plains Oiler Blaine Hickel swept the 100 (11.37) and 200 (23.060. Otis-Bison’s Ian Haselhorst swept the 400 meters (56.89) and triple jump (40-51/4).
