Ryan scored seven overtime points. The Oilers scored 13 points in five minutes. The Oilers (2-0) play Russell (2-0) in Thursday’s semifinal.

LANGDON — Ellinwood's Brittany Simpson broke the school record with 39 points and converted a record-tying seven 3-pointers in a 58-11 victory over Stafford at the Falcon Basketball Classic. Simpson broke Ellinwood's career scoring mark and tied the 3-point record with seven. Simpson and Bella Baker (15 points) combined to score Ellinwood's first 42 points when Shinliver scored a third-quarter basket.
Stafford's 6-foot-1 Lucy Miralles performed brilliantly with 11 points, stout rebounding and defense and a blocked 3-point shot against Simpson.
