La Crosse's Madison Morgan dominated with a 29-point night and four 3-pointers. The Leopards improved 27 points after losing to Ellinwood 45-11 in the season opener.

The Oilers led 28-8 at halftime as the Tigers struggled against the Oilers' rugged defense.

"This was our first game with our team healthy playing full minutes," said Cougar coach Curtis Little. "We've had one practice with all guys healthy."
