LYONS – Ellinwood’s Koy Behnke won the 400 meters (54.13) and Asher Miller captured the 3,200 (11:22.24); and the Eagles won the 3,200-meter relay (9:04.79) with Dawson Sunderland, Asher Miller, Bryce Steffan and Matthew Cook.
Ellinwood’s boys (104) finished runner-up behind Russell (124).
Other first-place winners were Macksville’s Hector Gomez, 110-meter hurdles (18.1); Larned’s Riley Pontius, javelin (138-6); and St. John’s 1,600-meter relay (3:45.18) with Braxton Alpers, Alan Valenzuela, Quade Smith and Juan Ibarra.
