ELLINWOOD – Ellinwood converted 13 3-pointers to storm past Kinsley 63-30 in Friday’s Central Prairie League basketball game.
Ellinwood standout Britton Dutton contributed 20 points, six 3-pointers and 10 assists. Tyler Stuhlsatz contributed 16 points and four 3-pointers in the third quarter. Koy Behnke scored 13 points with a trio of 3-pointers. Dutton hit a pair of 3-pointers in the first three quarters. The Eagles (13-3, 6-0 CPL) made 13 of 26 3-pointers.
“Making shots always makes a big difference with energy,” said Ellinwood coach Derek Joiner. “We pressured a little bit more, sped them up a little bit.”

Leopards Caden Morgan, Colby Stull and Brodie Schmidt hit 3-pointers during the streak.
