LANGDON – Ellinwood all-stater Brit Dutton was brilliant with 34 points, five assists and three steals as the Eagles defended their Falcon Classic title with a dominating 71-50 victory over Cunningham.

The Eagles (4-0) outscored the Wildcats 42-21 after halftime. They converted 29 of 51 field goals and dished out 14 assists. Koy Behnke scored 17 points. Alek Brack had five assists. Cunningham’s Trey DeWeese scored 16 points.

LANGDON — Ellinwood's all-league Brittany Simpson scored 28 points to spark the Eagles past Rosalia-Flinthills 58-43 for third place at the Falcon Basketball Classic. Ellinwood's Morgan Shinliver converted five 3-pointers for 15 points. Flinthills' Tegan Carney scored 14 points.

LARNED – The defending champion Hoisington girls sped past Bucklin 57-43 in Friday’s semifinals to qualify for the championship game of the Keady Basketball Classic.

Hoisington’s Addy Mason scored a career high 23 points and converted seven 3-pointers. Paige Lamatsch and Mallory Mooney added 10 apiece.
