Ellinwood, Hoisington reach Hoisington finals

ELLINWOOD 49, PRATT 38 – Ellinwood all-stater Britton Dutton scored 26 points and contributed four assists as the Eagles rallied from a 23-16 halftime deficit. Dutton converted 10 consecutive free throws and scored 15 points in the fourth quarter.

Drew Heinz and Koy Behnke each added eight points. Behnke grabbed nine rebounds. Pratt’s Carson Hoeme scored 13 points.

Ellinwood (11-0) plays Hoisington in Monday's championship game.

HOISINGTON 47, ELLSWORTH 39 (2 OT) – Hoisington outscored Ellsworth 8-0 in the second overtime to surprise the Bearcats. Leyton Haxton converted four free throws and Tony Moore added a basket in the second overtime.

Haxton scored 17 points and Moore (14) and Chase Steinert (10) scored in double figures. The Cardinals (5-6) play Ellinwood in Monday's championship game.
