CHASE –  Ellinwood’s Landon Simpson scored 24 points and the Eagles converted 10 3-pointers in a 60-5 non-league basketball victory over Chase. Ellinwood (6-2) had Mason Moore and Drew Heinz each score seven points.

Chase’s Luke Miller scored three points.

ELLINWOOD GIRLS 54, CHASE 24

CHASE – Ellinwood roared to a 28-6 halftime lead and coasted past Chase 54-24 in Friday’s non-league basketball game.

Ellinwood (2-5) placed Bennett Jacobs (12), Julia Schlessiger (12) and Reese Stickney (11) in double figures. Morgan Shinliver added seven points.

Chase's Haylee Miller performed brilliantly scoring 16 points, 14 in the third quarter before departing with a knee injury. Chase drops to 0-8.
