LARNED — Central Prairie League member Ellinwood swept Central Kansas League members Hoisington 25-23, 25-23 and Larned 25-18, 25-17 in Thursday’s non-league volleyball matches.

Hoisington defeated Larned 25-19, 25-21. The Cardinals (3-5) dropped Larned to 0-9.

Against Larned, Ellinwood’s Mya Maxwell contributed seven kills and Allison McReynolds four kills. Maddy Ward delivered 13 serves and Haley Gross 11 serves. Kaitlyn Pohlman contributed 12 digs and Anahi Mendez nine digs. Pohlman provided 13 serves received and Ward handled six serves.

Against Hoisington, Maxwell had 10 kills and Ward seven kills. Ward delivered 13 serves and Maxwell and McReynolds 10 apiece. Pohlman had 11 digs. Maxwell had 10 assists and Ward nine assists. Pohlmnan provided 15 serves received and Mendez 10 serves received.
