Great Bend's 200-yard medley relay Emilee Hall, Elly Somers, Clarise Snapp and Josephine Mazouch earned a state 5-1A qualifying performance (2:03.31) at Salina Thursday.

SALINA -- Great Bend's 200-yard medley relay Emilee Hall,  Elly Somers, Clarise Snapp and Josephine Mazouch earned a state 5-1A qualifying performance with the sixth-fastest time (2:03.31) in school history at Salina. 

The 200-yard freestyle relay of Hall, Mazouch, Kamryn Johns, and Ally Howard (1:56.48) earned a state consideration time.

Somers placed runner-up (2:34.29) in the 200-yard IM, Snapp placed fifth (2:51.96) and Howard sixth (2:56.95). 

Runner-up Hall ( 1:08.58) and third-place Somers (1:09.37) earned consideration times in the 100 backstroke.

Mazouch earned a consideration time in the 100 freestyle (1:02.02). She placed runner-up in the 50-freestyle (27.73) with Hall right behind (28.28).

Snapp earned a  consideration time in the 100 breaststroke (1:21.03). Ava Gregg placed fourth ( 1:28.06).

Braylee Carper won the 200-yard freestyle (2:26.21) and Gregg finished third (2:40.54).
