The Great Bend Middle School ‘A’ volleyball team finished its season with a 24-3 record.The ‘B’ team finished with an 18-8 mark.“These girls are very talented and have worked hard over the years to get to the level they are at,” GBMS head coach Weigel said. “It will be exciting to watch them develop their game even more and compete at the high school level.”The ‘A’ suffered its first loss of the season straight out of the gate, going 2-1 at a Garden City quadrangular, losing to Ulysses.The team followed that up with three straight quadrangular sweeps before placing third in their first tournament of the season, going 5-2 in Dodge City.
