Great Bend to host KCAC baseball, softball tourneys; team ambassadors sought
KCAC tournaments

Great Bend will be hosting the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) softball and baseball tournaments for the first time from April 28 through May 4.
Volunteers are needed to be ambassadors for the teams. As an ambassador, volunteers will be needed to greet some of the collegiate teams that will be coming in, as well as promote Great Bend and encourage them to dine, shop and explore Great Bend.
Ambassadors will need to help welcome all visitors and serve as a liaison for the teams if they need any information during this week while they stay in Great Bend.
This volunteer time is not required to be present at the tournament all week, but we will need all volunteers to be available to answer questions or to guide them as necessary while they are here.
These individuals need to have pride in Great Bend and be alumni or friends of one of the 10 conference schools. These schools include: Bethany College, Bethel College, Friends University, Kansas Wesleyan University, McPherson College, Ottawa University, Southwestern College, Sterling College, Tabor College, and University of Saint Mary.
We will match by a first-come, first-serve basis and are hoping to have enough volunteers to assign at least one ambassador for each college.
For more information on volunteering as an Ambassador at the tournament, contact Christina Hayes. Volunteers and ambassadors will be needed in many different areas, so if interested at all, please call or email today at chayes@greatbend.net
