GREENSBURG — St. John's Trey Fisher won the 400 (51.87) and Darby Smith won the 1,600 (5:45.57) in the 1A Greensburg track regional. The top four finishers qualify for the state meet at Wichita State.

The Tigers' 1,600 first-place relay returned to state (3:36.34) with veterans Trey Fisher, Cashe McVey and Mason Osborne returning with Eddy Calleros.

Hutchinson Central Christian won the regional title with 48 points and St. John (42) finished runner-up.

St. John's returning state qualifiers are pole vaulter Paige Doran (8-6) and the 3,200 relay (9:01.16) that features Fisher, McVey, Eddy Calleros and Osborne. 

Pawnee Heights' Dalton Hamby won the shot put (46-2) to return to 1A state. Stafford's Cayden Brozek returned to state in the 3,200 (11:02.18).
