HAYS – Great Bend’s girls scrapped and battled to the finish in a 41-32 loss to rival Hays High in Saturday’s Gerald Mitchell Hays Basketball Shootout for fourth place. The Panthers rallied within 31-28 on Makenzie Premer’s basket to start the fourth quarter.
