KISMET  – Welcome to the Jason Robinson show. 

Robinson's breakout game featured four touchdowns that sparked a 49-0 rout over Southwestern Heights in Friday's 2A District 7 opener. Robinson scored on runs of 1, 2 and 22 yards. He added a 35-scoring strike from quarterback Tony Moore.

Moore created a career highlight on a dazzling 92-yard touchdown run. Chase Steinert caught a 64-yard touchdown pass from Moore.

Hoisington's Teron Kraft scored on a 23-yard run.

MACKSVILLE  — Macksville's Hector Gomez accounted for four touchdowns to ignite a 50-34 Eight-Man 1 District 7 football victory over WaKeeney-Trego. Macksville (4-0, 1-0) rushed for 209 yards and passed for 168 yards.

Gomez rushed for 172 yards and scored on runs of 19 and 53 yards. Gomez caught a 28-yard scoring pass from Ryan Kuckelman. Gomez completed a 57-yard scoring strike to Jason Cleveland for the opening score.

Macksville's Kuckelman completed a 12-yard scoring pass to Lance Lickiss. Orion Guevara scored on an interception return.  Kuckelman contributed 121/2 tackles and Ervey Triana had 11 tackles.

Trego quarterback Owen Day scored two rushing touchdowns and completed a pair of touchdown passes to Gunner Wilson.

STAFFORD  — Stafford quarterback Dylan Gantz completed three touchdown passes to Colson Minks in a 48-0 victory over South Central in Eight-Man 2 District 7 football. Minks caught scoring strikes of 11, 16 and 45 yards to end the game on the 45-point rule.

Stafford (4-0, 1-0) started with a pair of safeties. Josh Hildebrand and Jimi Oleson assisted on the second safety. Stafford's Cody Knoche rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns. Gantz rushed for 86 yards and scored on a 20-yard run.

HUTCHINSON – Unbeaten Hutchinson Trinity shut out Ellinwood 24-0 in Friday’s opening 1A District 7 football game. Hutchinson Trinity (4-0, 1-0) scored in all four quarters to beat Ellinwood (2-2, 0-1), which plays Conway Springs next week. 

Quarterback Eric Armour scored on a 30-yard keeper and rushed for 139 yards. Placekicker Moises Segoviano converted a 41-yard field goals. Trinity’s Caleb Sanger gained 151 yards and scored on a 35-yard run. Isaiah Suter-tan scored on 12-yard touchdown pass from Eric Armour.

VICTORIA  — Victoria stormed past Central Plains 54-6 in Friday's Eight-Man 2, District 5 football opener. Carson Werth returned the opening kickoff 69 yards for a touchdown and added a 30-yard scoring run. Quarterback Thaddeus Wohler threw touchdown passes to Chase Schumacher and Seth Schwien and added a 64-yard touchdown run.

Greg Huser, Landon Schmidtberger and Wyatt Schmidtberger scored touchdowns for Victoria (4-0, 1-0).

Blaine Hickel prevented a shutout on a 30-yard touchdown pass from Evan Stratmann. Hickel converted the 2-point pass from Stratmann for the Oilers (0-4, 0-1). Stratmann passed for 197 yards. Hickel had 84 yards receiving and Hunter Klima 77 yards receiving.

Quarterback Lane Homewood scored two rushing touchdowns, scored on a 60-yard interception and converted a 9-yard scoring strike to Vaiden Dahl. Dtayse Walter scored three touchdowns.

Otis-Bison (0-4) prevented a shutout when Ky Schwartz caught a 10-yard scoring pass from Jake Hoopingarner.
