HAVEN – The Haven Wildcats (8-2, 6-2 CKL) scored 29 runs to roll past Hoisington 15-0 and 14-6 in Thursday’s Central Kansas League baseball doubleheader. Hoisington (1-7) plays Hillsboro (7-3, 5-3 CKL) at home Tuesday.

HAVEN 15, HOISINGTON 0 (G1) – Hoisington’s M.J. Aylward broke up Karter Cooprider’s no-hitter with a single. Cooprider struck out six batters.

Haven’s hot-hitting Miller drove home six runs with a 3-run triple, a 2-run single and an RBI double. Cooprider drove in runs with a single, sacrifice fly and groundball. Pennington drove home two runs.

HAVEN 14, HOISINGTON 6 (G2) – Hoisington’s M.J. Aylward drove home two runs with a double and single. French doubled home a run. Alex Elmore singled home a run. Elmore had two hits and Kyler Russell, Layton Haxton and Rhen Galla delivered hits.

Haven’s Preston Sander drove home four runs with a pair of 2-RBI doubles. Tyler Rogers and Dustin Loughrie each delivered 2-run doubles in a 5-run first inning.
