RUSSELL — Hoisington (13-4) won four of five matches, but finished third after losing 25-21, 23-25, 26-24 in a match that went down to the final points. Kylee Hahn led the attack backed by Jordyn Boxberger, Ellie Crawford, Mallory Mooney and Sofia Simic.  

The Cardinals downed Minneapolis 25-18, 25-19 for third place. Boxberger and Crawfored led the offense.

Central Plains (4-10) placed seventh with a 25-20, 25-18 victory over Stockton.
