ELLINWOOD 49, CIMARRON 35

HOISINGTON — Top-seed Ellinwood ended the game on a 12-0 run for a hard-fought 49-35 victory over pesky Cimarron in the Hoisington Winter Jam. Sparkplug Koy Behnke ignited the streak with a perfect pass that Cody Zink converted to end the third quarter. The Eagles shut out Cimarron 10-0 in the final quarter as Parker Scheck, Zink, Britton Dutton and Behnke scored.

Dutton led Ellinwood (11-0) with 21 points and Behnke added nine points, six assists and three steals.

HOISINGTON — Hoisington's girls outscored Otis-Bison 34-16 after halftime for a dominating 53-33 victory in the Hoisington Winter Jam. Jordyn Boxberger and Livvy Brewer each scored 14 points and Macy Hanzlick scored 12 second-half points.

Johannah Baalmann scored 13 points and Halee Morrison added 11 points for Otis-Bison.

HOISINGTON — Hoisington's Bralen Thompson was spectacular with 18 points as the Cardinals offset a box-and-one defense with a balanced attack for a 41-27 victory over La Crosse. The Cardinals have won five of the past six Winter Jam titles.
