The scheduled KCAC softball finals have been shifted to Sunday because of graduation ceremomies Saturday at Ottawa and Kansas Wesleyan.

KANSAS WESLEYAN 3, TABOR 2 (8 innings) — Kansas Wesleyan’s Alyssa Waldron delivered the walk-off RBI single that scored Ayme Demara after a eighth-inning single and bunt by Lacey Finch. Tabor’s Araselly Vargas drilled a tying two-run homer off pitcher Jordyn Parsons.

OTTAWA 4, OKLA. WESLEYAN 4 (elimination) — Ottawa’s Kori Lacey delivered Ottawa’s only RBI. Pitcher Molli Morgan threw a four-hitter with two strikeouts.

OKLA. WESLEYAN 2,  ST. MARY 0 (elimination) — Oklahoma Wesleyan pitcher Ashleigh Capps struck out six batters and threw a two-hitter. Kierra McFadden drew a bases-loaded walk and Jayci Wang’s RBI single brought home the two runs.

OTTAWA 8, MCPHERSON 2 (elimination) — Ottawa’s Aryn Smith drilled a bases-loaded double in the first inning and Ottawa rolled. Molli Morgan worked three innings.

TABOR 8, OTTAWA 1 — Tabor pitcher Madison Byrd (24-7) struck out 11 batters and drilled a grand slam homer to upset No. 1 seed Ottawa. Kerrigan Travens homered and delivered four hits. Byrd drove in five runs.

KANSAS WESLEYAN 5, ST. MARY 4 — Kansas Wesleyan rallied from a 4-2 deficit and won 5-4 when Autumn Gillespie’s sacrifice fly scored Michelle Paul in the bottom of the eighth inning. Paul walked, Ashlee Gutierrez bunted safely and Jordan Girard singled to load the bases. Lacey Finch’s two-run homer off Lee tied the game in the seventh inning.

MCPHERSON 2, FRIENDS 1 (elimination) — McPherson, scoreless for six innings, stunned KCAC runner-up Friends with a seventh and eighth-inning run. Kortney Jones delivered the game-winning hit that scored Jessica Jones off losing pitcher Heather Breslin. Katie Holmes doubled to score Ali Smith in the seventh inning for a 1-1 tie.

Friends scored when Laykyn Lindsay’s RBI single drove home Isabella Gonzalez in the first inning.

OKLA. WESLEYAN 5, BETHANY 3 (elimination) — Michaela Shouldis and Brianna Miller scored on an error and Kierra McFadden and Lindsay McKenna delivered RBI singles that scored Britney Howard and Kaylee Clinton in a 5-run fifth inning. Karli Hobson stole home for a fifth run.
