Indian jumper flies high
LARNED – Larned Indian jumper Brock Skelton soared over the competition with wins at the Larned Track Invitational in the long jump (20-31/2) and triple jump (41-71/2) and a runner-up finish in the 100 meters (11.49). Skelton competed on the runner-up 400-meter relay (46.17) with Jacob Smith, Chance Sanger and Jason Anderson.
The meet was contested in 55-degree weather with light wind.
St. John’s Trey Fisher won the 800 meters (2:06.87).
Girls winners were Larned Indians Dallas Jones, javelin (96-0) and Cagney Lemuz in the 100 meters (13.58).
