Larned softball sweeps two

HUTCHINSON — Larned pitcher Madison Wood dominated both games as the Indians swept past Nickerson 16-1 and 10-1 at Fun Valley. Larned (10-8, 9-7) earns its best record since 2014.

LARNED 16, PANTHERS 1 (G1) —Larned's Emma Thompson, Ivy Hope, Madison Reinert and Camryn Ettleman drove home two runs. K Kendall drove in a run.

LARNED 10, PANTHERS 1 (G2) — Larned 's Kenzie Reinert drove in two runs. Ettleman and Alexa Ryersee each drove in a run. Nickerson yielded seven walks.
