ST. JOHN 58, HOISINGTON 38 – St. John’s Uriel Calleros broke the game open with three consecutive 3-pointers to spark the No. 1 ranked Tigers past Hoisington58-38  in Friday’s Gene Keady Classic semifinal. Eli Delp finished the first half with his first career 3-pointer for a 27-16 halftime lead.

St. John’s Marshall Woolf scored 11 points and Tanner Halling and Fisher added nine apiece. Bralen Thompson led Hoisington with 13 points and Mason Haxton added 10 points. The Tigers’ tandem of 6-7 Tanner Halling and 6-7 Delp shut down Hoisington’s inside game.

Bucklin’s Catherine Bowman scored 13 points. St, John’s Darby Smith scored 10 points and Erin Crissman scored nine points.
