Larned wrestlers place at Circle
TOWANDA — Larned wrestlers Austin Armstrong (15-12, 106) and Braydon Lemuz (25-4, 145) placed third at the Circle Wrestling Tournament.
Armstrong downed Eureka’s Connor Booth-Hughes, 5-3 for third place. Lemuz defeated Buhler’s Nick Elliott 6-5 for third place.
Larned’s Dillen Hook (18-10, 113) placed fourth with 1 14-6 loss to Circle’s Wyatt Wright.
Indians Gatlin Hoch (20-9, 120), Samajay Alboyd (21-8, 138) and Keaton Thompson (6-5, 220) each placed fifth. Logan Erway (14-11, 160) finished sixth.
Stafford’s Laithen Shocklee (25-6, 220) and teammate Logan Serviss (26-7, 285) both placed third. Shocklee defeatedClearwater’s Sage Gonsalves 10-3 for third place. Serviss pinned Nickerson’s Mattieu Cedillo in 23 seconds for third place.
