Eight teams will converge on Great Bend this weekend for the three day Great Bend Chiefs Classic.
The Great Bend Sports Complex, Lawson-Biggs Field (BCC) and Al Burns Field (Vets Park) will serve as venues for the event.
Action gets underway Friday evening at 5:30 as Hutchinson takes on Russell at GBSC. Great Bend and Larned will then square off at 8 p.m. also at the Sports Complex. Meantime, Inman will do battle against TMP at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Al Burns followed by Andover against Pratt at Al Burns at 8 p.m.
Saturday play begins at 9:30 a.m. at Lawson-Biggs as Andover faces Russell. Hutchinson and Pratt will play at noon followed by Great Bend and Inman at 3 p.m. and Larned and TMP at 5:30 p.m., all at Lawson-Biggs.
Back at GBSC Inman and Larned will play at noon with Andover and Hutchinson battling at 3 p.m. At 5:30 Pratt will face Russell followed by Great Bend and TMP at 8 p.m.
Round one of the playoffs begins at 10:30 Sunday morning at the Sports Complex and Al Burns Field. Semifinals begin at 1 p.m. at GBSC and ABF with the championship game at 3 p.m. at GBSC.

• 7 inning games, 2 hour time limit. No inning will start after 2 hours unless tied.
• Run Rules: 15 after 3 innings, 10 after 4 innings, 8 after 5 innings.
• All coaches and players will be responsible for good sportsmanship.
