OVERLAND PARK – The Great Bend Little Panthers soccer team captured first place in the Fall Kickoff Challenge with a 4-0 record. The Little Panthers outscored four teams 13-0. The Little Panthers are coached by Armando Leyva and assisted by Carlos Soto. 

Eric Mendoza scored three goals in a 3-0 victory over Topeka Select Strikers. Eric Mendoza scored two goals and Angel Razo and Roby Gutierrez added goals in a 4-0 victory over Topeka Select United. Eric Mendoza scored tow goals in a2-0 win over Puma FC Dortmund. The Little Panthers won the championship game 4-0 over the Topeka Select Strikers. Eric Mendoza and Jonathan Pasos each scored tow goals. Axel Leyva dished out two assists.
