Braves travel to Dodge tonight
Chiefs to entertain Dodge City on Friday night

The Great Bend Braves, a Class A American Legion baseball team, travels to Dodge City tonight for a doubleheader, starting at 6.
The Braves (6-6) were swept in a doubleheader by Pratt on Tuesday night at the City of Great Bend Sports Complex.
Pratt held off numerous comebacks by the Braves for a 12-8 win in the first game.
In the nightcap, Great Bend was blanked 10-0 in four innings as the run-rule went into effect. The Braves were hitless in Game 2.
“Our bats went to sleep and we didn’t compete like we normally do,” Great Bend head coach Jordan Metro said. “Our kids were pretty upset with the way they played.”

Chiefs to play back-to-back home doubleheaders
     The Class AAA American Legion Great Bend Chiefs entertain Dodge City on Friday night at the Sports Complex.
The first game of the doubleheader starts at 6.
The Chiefs will also entertain Hays on Tuesday in a twinbill, also starting at 6.
