The Great Bend Chiefs and Braves will both be competing in the Wild West Fest Tournament, which starts today and runs through Sunday.
Both teams have a pair of morning games in pool play today, with the Chiefs opening the senior division of the tourney with a game against Thomas More Prep at its home field at 9.
The Chiefs challenge the Kansas Crush at 11:15 on the same field.
The Braves have a 9 a.m. junior-division game against Hays at Fort Hays State University’s Larks Park followed by an 11:15 game against the Dodge City Rangers.
The Chiefs have two games on Saturday before starting elimination games on Sunday.
The Braves play one pool play game on Saturday morning before starting elimination games on Saturday afternoon.
