The Great Bend Recreation Commission hosted an NBC Hap Dumont Points Tournament on Saturday and Sunday at the Great Bend Sports Complex and Brit Spaugh Park.
The tournament held teams from nine- through 14-and-under. The winning teams received double points toward their Hap Dumont rankings due to the tournament being the featured tournament of the week.
The 10-and-under age group, which also had a nine-and-under team, was won by the Great Bend Bobcats. The Bobcats got 200 points.
The 11-and-under group had eight teams in it, so the top 2 teams received points.
The Hays Expos received 200 points for defeating the Barton Bandits in the championships game. The Bandits won 150 points for second place.
The Manhattan Titans won the 12-and-under tournament, which had four teams.
The 13-and-under tournament had a 10-team field, so the top 3 teams received points.
The Wichita Giants won 200 points with the championships, the Hays Braves finished second for 150 and McPherson finished third for 120.
The Wichita Hawks won the 14-and-under tournament title for 200 points.
