The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a USTA Jr. Novice Tennis Tournament on Friday at Veterans Memorial Park.
They will be offering both boys and girls divisions for singles and doubles.
The age divisions are 12-and-under, 14-and-under and 16-and-under. Shannon Schartz is the tournament director.
The entry fee is $10 for singles and $16 for doubles. The entry deadline is today.

The Great Bend Recreation Commission is sponsoring the 11-and-under Hap Dumont State Tournament, which starts on Friday and continues through Sunday.
The 25-team tournament will begin pool play on Friday at the Veterans Memorial Park and Brit Spaugh ball fields.
Games will begin at 10 a.m. for pool play on Friday and Saturday.
The elimination bracket play begins on Saturday with the championship rounds beginning on Sunday, at 5:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park South.
Teams competing include Derby Tigers, Salina Irish, Wichita Jets, Wichita Hawks, Pratt Gators, Salina Orioles, Westurban Gators, Southwest Hitters, Salina Diamondbacks, Salina Dir Dawgs, Andover Dirt Dawgs, Wichita Sluggers, Wichita Wolfpack, Wichita Rock Hounds, Andover Aces, MBA Midwest Yankees, Larned Cubs, Jaguars, Wichita Giants, Manhattan Renegades, Hays Braves, Wichita Grays, Ark City, Kansas Crush and the Wichita Kings.
